Holly graduated from the University of Queensland in 2007 with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy. She joined the team at Allied Therapy Network in October 2020 and brings over 14 years of clinical experience in hospital and community health settings. Holly enjoys working with adults to develop holistic, goal-focused programs, where she can empower her clients to achieve improvements in their day to day function, valued roles and quality of life.
Holly has a passion for community rehabilitation, which is where she has spent the majority of her career. She believes the reward of working as a rehab clinician comes from opportunities to form therapeutic relationships with clients, to watch them improve over time and to see meaningful changes in their lives in a “real world” environment.
Holly has worked across the public and private health sectors, encompassing areas such as acute and rehabilitation hospital wards, community home visiting services, functional gym programs, a rural allied health outreach team, persistent pain management programs, chronic disease management services and an outpatient driving assessment clinic. She has a post graduate qualification as an occupational therapy driving assessor and is certified in the CO-OP (Cognitive Orientation to daily Occupational Performance), a therapeutic approach designed to enable children and adults with performance difficulties to succeed in the everyday tasks and activities that are important to them.
In her spare time, Holly enjoys camping, hiking and exploring the outdoors with friends. She loves watching live music, especially supporting local Aussie acts. Holly would be lost without coffee, her Staffy “Rosie Loveheart” and her family, in no particular order.
